Animal Crossing goes camping on smartphones late November ⊟ 

It’s finally coming, a mobile version of Nintendo’s super popular social sim! Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp (for iOS and Android) looks and plays a lot like previous versions on dedicated gaming consoles, but this time you’re developing and customizing campgrounds instead of a town. And instead of decorating a home, you’re filling up and expanding a camper vehicle.

Unlike past Animal Crossings that feature a giant playground where most of the action takes place, Pocket Camp has you driving to different areas for various experiences, like shopping, fishing, catching bugs, and mining. All those activities allow you to pick up resources or complete tasks for other characters, enabling you to buy or make furniture. As with most free mobile games, you’ll have the option to skip all that (and speed up the time to make stuff) by buying Leaf Tickets – you can also earn these here and there just by playing.

One of Pocket Camp’s new features is a friendship level you’ll with animals you come across. You can chat with them and fulfill requests to increase your friendship level, and decorate your campground with the animal’s favorite furniture to encourage them to visit you. Of course, you’ll also be able to visit and invite friends, and purchase their fish, fruit, and bugs.

I made my Adorea cosplay in about 3 weeks which is pretty much a record for me. I literally painted the mask during the convention I made it to wear to. Even though I see a lot of issues I can fix, I’m happy with how it turned out and the reactions I got while wearing it.

I’m graduating from school in two weeks, and I’ve made a total of four films this semester. I feel like my style has really grown and come together, even though these images are from separate pieces they all (at least to me) can relate to each other. I’m really looking forward to getting some sleep after graduation.

Tbh, I’ve wanted to cosplay Sailor Venus for a while, but I’ve always been held back by my body image. When I started cosplay, I always went as characters with masks or helmets, whose outfits I could use to obscure my weight. I avoided a lot of characters I loved because I had this feeling of I AM FAT AND UGLY AND I WILL LOOK BAD. Going to a con as Venus this year was really important to me, because I finally felt good enough about myself to wear something that I couldn’t hide in. It was tight and the skirt was short and my upper arms are exposed and I looked really good!!! I looked so good and I felt so good and I had so much fun and I’m really glad that cosplay could make me feel that way about myself. Sry for the maudlin post but it felt important to me.

I felt really good about my cosplays this weekend, being Venus was like my childhood dream come true! I was surprised at how many people recognized Yuri, I feel like I should have gone to the video game room as her but there just wasn’t time. And it’s always fun to be Mako. :)

I’ve been active on my reblog-blog custodialghost but not on my personal or gif blog. I got really busy with school and had a bunch of issues with anxiety and depression but I’m doing better and feeling more creative and coming back I guess ha

So far just Anime Milwaukee. Unfortunately Acen takes place the same weekend as my graduation so I have to miss it. ;o; I’m still trying to figure out what other cons to go to this summer.
